A.P.C. and ASICS Are Bringing Tenniscore Back for 2025
ASICS just announced its newest collaboration with A.P.C., launching ahead of the European Tennis Tour. Featuring pieces designed for both on and off the court, the collection marks ASICS’ first-ever fully-fledged tennis collaboration. The duo last collaborated back in 2022, releasing a selection of GEL-SONOMA 15-50 sneakers in blue and beige hues. This new team-up seemingly takes their relationship a few steps further though, launching a much wider selection that includes ready-to-wear pieces.
Comprising a 20-piece on-court collection and 30-piece off-court collection, the new release arrives as a unisex offering, taking inspiration from preppy ’70s style.
The on-court offering lands in classic hues of blue and white, featuring standout silhouettes like the 7-inch Sprinter Short, Longline Bra and Crew Sleeveless Top. Channelling ASICS’ Japanese heritage, the collection follows the “Kasane” techniques — aka the Japanese art of layering — through subtle wrap detailing. Elsewhere, the collection takes inspiration from traditional Shibori tie-dye techniques and features a selection of accessories like tennis caps, wristbands and crew socks.
Off the court, the lifestyle-led collection features special edition GEL-KAYANO 14 x A.P.C. sneakers along with a new Tote Raquette bag, crafted from organic Japanese denim. The new collection is set to be worn by ASICS athletes like Harriet Dart, Jasmine Paolin and Belinda Bencic during their European tennis tournaments.
