Internationally recognised singer, songwriter, producer and multi award-winning musician, TRESOR, received writing and production credits on Drake’s album Certified Lover Boy for his contribution on the song “Fountain” featuring Nigerian songstress Tems.
TRESOR, who’s based predominantly in South Africa, is no stranger to the international music scene having achieved two number #1 singles in Italy as well amassing a fast-growing fanbase in the U.K and Japan. It is reported that the artist was invited to contribute to Drake’s project by the latter’s OVO Sound Team after they were impressed by his most recent work on the former’s collaboration album Rumble In The Jungle alongside Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, which was released in April.
Speaking about his contribution, he says: “I’m extremely honoured and excited to have one of my songs make the final selection for Drake’s Certified Lover Boy. This is a milestone achievement for me and my Jacquel Entertainment Group. It’s a great feeling to have also been able to include one of my Jacquel artists, Batundi, on the production contribution of “Fountain”…”
