Stella McCartney and adidas Strip Down the Taekwondo Sneaker for a Sleek New Look
Stella McCartney and adidas have unveiled their latest collaborative footwear: the Taekwondo Ballet sneakers. Merging influences from martial arts and ballet, the slip-on sneakers feature a low-profile build crafted from adidas’ Primeknit material, delivering a sock-like fit with lightweight comfort and ease.
Its streamlined upper is accented by jagged TPU overlays, giving the shoe a futuristic edge while maintaining its everyday versatility. It’s available in two distinct colorways, spanning a soft neutral “Almond Milk” and a bold “Semi Impact Orange” variant. Both versions are vegan and incorporate at least 20% recycled materials, aligning with Stella McCartney’s commitment to sustainable fashion. The outsole is designed for flexible traction, making the sneakers suitable for both casual wear and light activity, while the absence of laces and tongue enhances their sleek, modern silhouette.
