adidas Adds Laces to Its 3D-Printed Climacool Sneaker
It’s been nearly a year since adidas introduced its latest breakthrough in 3D-printed footwear with the adidas Climacool. Since then, it made its retail debut, including via a limited in-store launch of a collaboration with Kith. Now, it’s time for the model to take a new form with the adidas Climacool Laced.
Announced last month, the Climacool Laced builds atop its predecessor by applying a lacing system and mesh tongue to the sneaker. This iteration of the shoe features the same 360° airflow while offering a more flexible fit with its adjustable upper. Presented here in another “Off White” colorway, the printed portion of the sneaker maintains the milky white hue throughout, including at its large lateral stripes. From there, black brings rich contrast, effectively highlighting the new lacing system and tongue.
For those looking to shop the new adidas Climacool Laced sneaker, it is set to drop in this lead “Off White” colorway on July 15 via adidas and select retailers.
