Reebok Names Todd Krinsky As New CEO
Reebok have announced that Todd Krinsky, previously the senior vice president of Reebok Design Group, is taking over as the company’s new CEO, as reported by WWD. Krinsky will take over from Matt O’Toole, who’s moving to serve as executive vice chairman of Reebok’s new owner, Authentic Brands Group.
With over a decade as part of Reebok’s senior leadership team, Krinsky’s knowledge spans everything from product development and sports and entertainment marketing to business and category leadership. He’s also played a part in the growth of Reebok’s Classic business – the group responsible for much-loved icons like the Club C.
In an interview with WWD, Krinsky said about his shift to the top position and O’Toole’s move to ABG,
‘I live and breathe the brand. Matt and I worked together for a really long time, and I’m happy he’s going to stay within the ABG family to work on Reebok and other things.’
Krinsky notes that the goal for the future of Reebok as a whole is to reinterpret sports, saying they’re aiming to ‘take a methodical approach and return to our rightful place as a true sport style brand.’
Matt O’Toole will officially move to ABG in 2023, working alongside Krinsky until then.
