Alexander McQueen’s New Fashion Film Stars the New Sprint Runner Sneaker

Alexander McQueen partnered with director and visual artist Sophie Muller for an all-new fashion film featuring the latest Sprint Runner Sneaker.

Starring renowned dancer and singer Mettenarrative, the film is an exploration of female empowerment through clothing, utilizing movement as a form of expression. Throughout the video Mette is seen completing graceful jumps and climbing ropes, fusing delicate dances with gymnastic-style movements which complement the flow of her clothing.

First teased on the Spring/Summer 2022 runway, the Sprint Runner is a contemporary take on a classic running sneaker and boasts a laced up, metal-free upper in a crisp white leather. Complete with an exaggerated rubber sole, each pair is finished with an Alexander McQueen signature and three-dimensional seal. The Sprint Runner is available in two core colorways, all white or white with a black contrast leather heel, alongside a range of seasonal colorways that reflect the menswear and womenswear ready-to-wear collections.
