Cole Sprouse Is Back to Blonde in New Campaign for Versace Eyewear Collaboration
Cole Sprouse is venturing into the eyewear industry. The Riverdale star is dropping a surprising collaboration with Versace, launching a line of eyewear that blends his Hollywood upbringing with his personal style in 2022.
Cole’s capsule line with Versace includes two sunglasses and one pair of glasses; the perfect edit that encapsulates all your eyewear needs. In the pics, which were shot by legendary photographer Steven Klein using a hand-held camera, Cole poses in each pair wearing a buttoned-up suit and tie, an open black shirt, and an unbuttoned patterned shirt with leather pants. The actor wears a pair of square-lensed shades and the glasses in the pic, adding a hint of academia-chic to the rock-inspired ensemble.
Most striking (besides the glasses) is the fact that Cole has ditched the black hair he’s been rocking since taking the role of Jughead in Riverdale and is now back to the golden blonde he had in his younger years. We did a double-take thinking it was his twin brother Dylan, but nope — that blonde hair is all Cole! It’s as if Jughead ditched Riverdale and headed to Los Angeles.Cole shared a pic from the campaign to Instagram where he wears a bold pair of aviators alongside some Versace jewelry and a burgundy shirt. “Shields up for the powerful new @versace Eyewear Campaign,” he wrote. Fans immediately flooded the comments with heart-eye emojis and love for the new look and the major shades.
If you’re in the market for a new pair of sunglasses in preparation for summer fun, Cole’s Versace collection is available on Sunglass Hut
