Valentino Celebrates Chinese Valentine’s Day
Maison Valentino just dropped its new campaign, celebrating Chinese Valentine’s Day, which lands on August 29 this year. Lensed by Julie Greve, the new campaign features actor Ren Min and model Zixiao Zhao as this season’s protagonists, captured in a plush green garden on a late summer afternoon.
Spotlighting pieces from the new Fall 2025 collection, which takes inspiration from the spirit of the ’60s era, the new campaign features the Valentino Garavani Nellcôte and Viva Superstar bags. Reimagined this season in new textures, the collection leans into a certain “hippie-chic” allure.
The classic crossbody and tote silhouettes are revived with the addition of embroidered mirrors, vibrant jacquard fabrications and multicolor beading, with each new iteration a representation of artisanal intricacy. The new range also features two new small tote sizes, designed in grained calf and suede with whimsical “Cherryfic” motifs and detailed embroidery.
Elsewhere, the campaign also spotlights the Vivia Superstar family, expanding its classic color palette with a new red and black colorway, along with “Optical Butter White.” Finally, the collection is complete with a new crossbody camera case, a belt bag and a small duffle bag.
