A Second CAYL x New Balance 1906R is Coming
CAYL, aka Climb As You Love, is one of many international labels to work closely with New Balance in recent years, increasing both parties’ global presence. The duo most recently teamed up last fall to equip the 610 and Fresh Foam X More Trail v3 in outdoor-ready colorways. Now, they’ve moved on to the 1906R.
It’s been just over a month since we caught a first look at the South Korean label’s approach to the 1906R, outfitting it in a fresh teal, gray and black finish. Another colorway has just popped up, revealing the duo’s “Yellow” rendition of the runner. Ripstop and synthetic detailing run across the upper as a yellow base hosts white linework and brown overlays. Black enters the mix at the lacing system, outsole and the “N” logos on each side, as well as for CAYL’s mountain logo at the lateral heel.

At the time of writing, neither CAYL nor New Balance have announced their forthcoming collaboration involving the 1906R. However, BSTN has announced that it will be releasing this “Yellow” colorway on August 22 at 6pm EDT at a price of $180 USD. Stay tuned for updates as we expect its blue counterpart to also release in the coming weeks.
