Greta Lee and Daniel Craig Lead LOEWE’s New Campaign
LOEWE‘s latest campaign takes inspiration from the work of artist Richard Hawkins, utilizing his signature collage style of mixed media. Lensed by long-term LOEWE collaborator, David Sims, the campaign stars actor Daniel Craig and brand ambassador Greta Lee in a straight-forward set of portrait-style images.
Described as “a blunt, crudely reductionist effort,” the campaign features a crisp white background, encouraging the viewer to focus solely on the subjects. Bereft of props and distractions, the imagery hones in on Craig and Lee, showcasing nothing but the clothing and our own perceptions.
Craig is pictured in a slew of knitted jumpers, cargo pants, leather blousons and embroidered trousers, spotlighting the new collection’s Americana influence, while Lee is captured with no make-up and messy hair, sporting masculine tailoring and trompe l’oeil prints.
Elsewhere, classic pieces like the Squeeze Bag, Flamenco Purse and Campo Biker Boots are captured in still-life portraits, paired with the signature Puzzle Fold Tote, Pebble Bucket Bag and Squeeze XL.
