Headie One and K-Trap Go From ‘Strength to Strength’ on New Collaborative Mixtape
Hot on the heels of the official announcement of their joint mixtape last week — which came with the duo’s lead single “Park Chinois” — UK drills stars Headie One and K-Trap have now dropped the full project.
Titled Strength To Strength, the 10-track project champions UK drill to full effect, with each record using a slew of 808 beat sequences and fast-tapping high hats. And while Headie One and K-Trap have carved unique sounds in the saturated world of UK rap in their own rights, the pair have managed to create a seamless project, one that highlights the strengths of both rappers’ lyrical abilities, cadences, and flows.
Headie One and K-Trap have only included one feature throughout the tape too, enlisting Clavish, who appears on “Triple Threat,” for which an official music video was dropped last night.
Much like the project’s previous release, “Park Chinois,” the Suave-directed video takes a gritty approach, capturing the trio’s rhymes in front of a rundown industrial space with their friends behind them.
You can check out the visuals for “Triple Threat” above and be sure to listen to Strength To Strength in its entirety below.
