Bakar Presents Second Studio Album ‘Halo’
Bakar’s sophomore album is loaded with lively music influences from all throughout the industry. Halo sees the British artist primarily tapping into his feel-good indie-rock side, while also exploring a deeper lyrical vulnerability.
On the 11-track album, Bakar does most of the leg-work, although equipped with an introduction by fellow British musician Little Simz, and a remix on his viral 2019 hit “Hell N Back” with Summer Walker. “I could you tell where your head was at when I found you,” she smoothly enters her verse, a response to Bakar’s first verse. Bakar unveiled “All Night” earlier this week ahead of Halo’s release, and dropped off “Alive!”, “Right Here, For Now”, and “I’m Done” throughout the summer. The full tracklist is included below.
“made this album on the move in bare different hotels, bnbs , my house etc . feel like im allergic to them big studios nowadays ,” he wrote in an Instagram caption.
Halo is now available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music.
