Nike Air More Uptempo “Wheat Gum” Has a Release Date
Nike’s Air More Uptempo already commands attention thanks to the massive ‘Air’ branding script in bubbled graffiti-style lettering on each side, but it’s also no stranger to a crazy colourway. It was recently spotted in a suede build, ‘Volt’ makeup with a brightly-hued midsole, and it was the subject of controversy earlier this week as the iconic Swoosh silhouette was turned into a slide. Now, it’s set to get an all-over wheat colourway with a monogram print.
This Air More Uptempo will be a women’s-exclusive release and has been created using both ‘Wheat’ and ‘Gum Light Brown’. The upper looks to be constructed entirely of leather with the usual perforations along each side and signature Air logo in a quilted print. Matching laces, gum outsole and rear Jewel Swoosh are all in place with a white midsole and translucent bubbles rounding it out.
