The New Balance 2002R “Mocha” Is on Its Way
New Balance has seen its 2002R model gain rapid speed, landing in the hands of collaborators across the globe. Fans have been supplied with an influx of partnered variations, ranging from thisisneverthat’s neutral interpretation to Up There’s take centered around traditional Aussie barbeque.
The Boston-based manufacturer has also delivered a variety of sleek takes to its in-house line, including a backless mule edition and one equipped with GORE-TEX uppers and pre-worn soles.
As the fall season makes its way, New Balance is preparing a selection of muted kicks to complement your wardrobe. The latest pair to emerge is the forthcoming 2002R “Mocha.” The uppers have been drenched in brown suede overlays that lay atop cream mesh underpinnings. Soft grey leather trims decorate the toe boxes and collars, while branding is kept to a minimum through silver N insignia and 2002R labelling. New Balance markings are also featured on the tongues and heels.
The pair is complete with off-white midsoles charged with N-ERGY cushioning for snug all-day wear, along with black rubber outsoles.
Take a first look at the New Balance 2002R “Mocha” above, and expect it to hit shelves in the coming weeks at New Balance and select retailers for $140 USD.
