P.E Nation Partners With ASICS For a Duo of GEL-1130 Collaborations

ASICS has been fairly active when on the collaborations front this season as it recently linked up with BEAMS to equip the GEL-KAYANO 14 with a mosquito net and GORE-TEX protection as well as Guadalupe for a GEL-LLYTE III TROPICÁLIA colorway. And now its spreading its collaborative horizons once more by tapping P.E Nation to construct a duo of GEL-1130 installments.

For this project, founders of the athleisure company Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning wanted to pay equal homage to the origins of streetwear and ASICS’ longstanding heritage. Both offerings are arrive fitted with lighter cream uppers, but deviate vastly when it comes to their tooling. The first offering is somewhat reminiscent of Andersson Bell’s previous ASICS collaborations given the similarities in additional cords that run throughout the upper. Pops of neon pink and volt also enliven the sneakers through the throat, laces, heel tabs, toe box overlays and midsole molds.

Its release sibling is possessive of more muted accents as the tiger stripes are done up with a tinted translucence while bold orange hits sprinkle atop the heel tabs, midsole molds and branding on the tongues.

Interested in copping? Both iterations are available right now via the P.E Nation for $140 USD a pop.
