Aldo partners with the Springboks
SA Rugby and ALDO South Africa announced their partnership earlier this month, with the well-known lifestyle shoe and accessories brand becoming SA Rugby’s official dress shoe partner to the Springboks.
“ALDO is an anchor brand in the FrontierCo stable,” says FrontierCo CEO, Bernard Mostert.
As part of the partnership, ALDO will provide formal footwear to the men’s and women’s Springbok teams for their appearances on formal and official occasions for a three year period.
Bernard Mostert, says, “As heroes of the nation, we appreciate what an honour and privilege it is to dress the Springboks in our shoes. As a brand we are devotedly and proudly South African.
As ALDO’s innovation strategy expands into comfort technologies, there will be an ongoing commitment to dressing the teams in shoes engineered to move.
“ALDO has become synonymous with quality footwear and as we need the Springboks to look as sharp off the field as they are on it, it was a natural fit to partner with ALDO,” said Jurie Roux, CEO of SA Rugby.
