Gucci Presents Its New adidas Gazelle Platform Collaboration
Collaborative projects between luxury fashion labels and sportswear giants have been significantly ramped up in recent years, and one brand that has fully leaned into the movement is adidas. Thus far, the German brand has linked up with the like of Prada, Balenciaga and Gucci for joint footwear and apparel collections, and it’s aligning with the latter once more this season to introduce a new Gucci x adidas Gazelle Platform collaboration for the ladies.
For this new initiative, creative director Alessandro Michele has taken the Three Stripes lifestyle silhouette and essentially added three more midsoles pieces to it. Two colorways are included in this launch, both of which have been upgraded with chunky platform bottoms that are styled with white, orange, yellow and blue stripes. Up top, the two pairs deviate from one another as one option comes fitted with luxe velvet red uppers, white stripes and debossed throat patterns while the other is fitted with full Gucci yellow monogram patterns, white stripes and matching blue heel overlays. While these are labelled as an offering geared towards women, they do go up to a size UK 10 in case any fellas also wanted to pick up a pair.
Check them out in full detail above and note that Gucci has them available now for £930.
