Take an Official Look at the sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 “OG”
Following its initial appearance in sacai’s Fall/Winter 2022 lookbook and multiple early looks, Nike now produces the official images for the sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 “OG.” The collaborative pairs arrive on the 50th anniversary of Bill Bowerman‘s original Cortez shoes which have become a classic mainstay in Nike’s footwear lineup.
The upcoming collaboration features the same white, gray, red, and blue color blocking of the original Cortez with the addition of sacai’s signature double-stacked design elements. Laterals feature a gray painted Swoosh that crosses on top of the “University Red” leather Swoosh, heels incorporate stacked suede panels, and the collars and tongues arrive in overlapping doubles. Rounding out the design are split sole units in cream white and blue featuring an extended heel piece, Zoom Air bubble pucks, and grooved outsoles.
The sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 “OG” is set to release later this year.
