PUMA brings you an extra special Select Sessions hosted by Kid Fonque
This month PUMA brings you an extra special Select Sessions hosted by Kid Fonque, who will be treating us to an intimate 5 hour set at Dassler’s in Braamfontein on Thursday, 26 May 2022.
Over the last 20 years, Kid Fonque, aka Allan Nicoll has played a vital role in South African electronic music and club culture, trending from DJ to promoter and producer to a career as label manager and radio and TV host.
He made his DJ debut at the legendary 206 over twenty years ago, and has since DJed alongside Gilles Peterson, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Tom Misch, Bonobo, Skepta, Henrik Schwarz, Âme, Rich Medina and more over the years.
Free of boundaries – be they genres or borders – Kid Fonque traverses styles, from bass and broken beats to bossa nova, hip-hop and every shade of house, and crosses mediums. He’s the de facto spokesperson for Mzansi’s electronic music scene and one of its proudest proponents.
Starting at 6pm: entry is free on a first come, first serve basis. Enter through the PUMA store and skip the queue in your PUMA kicks.
