This Air Jordan 1 Mid Mimics the “Neutral Grey” Aesthetic
Have you subscribed to the Mid-agenda yet? Once derided as the weakest link in Jordan Brand’s prodigious arsenal, the mid-cut silhouettes have soared back into the limelight in recent years, the Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Africa’, ‘Bred’ and ‘Tie-Dye’ all making their way to retail shelves of late.
The latest Air Jordan 1 Mid to arrive is the ‘Vintage Grey’ remix, the stripped back colour palette joining the recently announced Air Jordan 1 Low. Bearing a similar resemblance to the classic OG ‘Neutral Grey’ composition of 1985 (a model which saw a retro in 2021), the ‘Vintage Grey’ colourway is hit with grey collars, Swooshes and outsoles.
Manufactured with classic nylon tongues and all-white leather uppers, the model emphasises its vintage characteristics with pre-yellowed midsoles. All the legendary branding of course makes an appearance, the wings on the ankle and Jumpman on the tongue this time rendered in grey.
No release info has been announced just yet, but it’s likely that these will be released in the coming months.
