Where to Buy the Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto

Back in 2004, Hello Kitty and Nike teamed up for a special Air Presto to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sanrio, Hello Kitty’s parent company. It never saw a retail release, and, in the nearly 20 years since then has gone on to become the stuff of sneaker legend. Now, in 2022, Hello Kitty and Nike have teamed up once again, creating another take on the Air Presto that’s different from its cult-favourite predecessor in three major ways: it’s got an entirely new colour scheme, it boasts new embellishments, and, most importantly, it will indeed get a full release.

The Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto’s neoprene upper is dressed in an easygoing sky blue colourway, and features pint-sized printed embellishments of Hello Kitty’s face that run from heel to toebox. Hello Kitty’s bow is placed on the tongue, and the plastic heel cage shows off a playful Hello Kitty detail of its own – complete with another red bow! A full-colour print can be seen on the insoles, and the shoes also come packaged in a special box.
