Official Images! Avocado-Inspired Nike Dunk Low
Inspiration comes in many different forms for the design teams at Nike, but one category that the brand will often gravitate towards is food. Recently, the SB label has been gradually unveiling its 4/20-friendly collection that includes colorways such as the “Blue Raspberry” and the “Green Apple” makeup, and now the Swoosh’s inline assemblage is welcoming in a Nike Dunk Low “Avocado” installment.
This forthcoming rendition its crafted to design nearly every element of the delectable produce item. If you look at the uppers up close, you’ll notice that most of the ground has been dipped in a dark green hue and features ridged textures to mimic the actual look of its exocarp. Pastel shades of green rim the Swooshes and apply to the collars and interior lining to convey the pulp, and this is formed with a shaggy fabric. Insoles have been styled with brown backdrops to represent the pit, and they come marked with a logo that reads “Grown With Love From Nike U.S.A.” Additionally, grocery store sticker-inspired embellishments arrive on the forefoot and spell out “Product of Nike” and “Beaverton, Oregon” to call out Nike’s WHQ.
No release info has been announced just yet, but you can likely expect these to drop in the coming weeks.
