Jason Dill and adidas Skateboarding Reunite to Relaunch Original Samba Colourway
When Jason Dill first joined the adidas Skateboarding team in 2019 after a long stint with Vans, he was welcomed into the fold with his own special Samba, available to his friends and family in extremely limited quantities. Now, in 2022, the Fucking Awesome founder, Supreme affiliate and all-around skate legend is letting the general public get a crack at his Sambas with a global release.

Though Dill is an adidas Skateboarding team member, his Samba is a true-blue adidas Originals release and is not skate-ified like Dennis Busenitz’ popular Busenitz pro model. It’s dressed in a classic white and black colour scheme, made of premium leather, is equipped with an icy sole and signature T-toe overlay and even removes the Samba’s standard gold midfoot branding, opting instead for a gold ‘Dill’ hit on its tongue.

‘For my first signature colourway with adidas, I wanted to dig into the brand’s history and bring back something classic from when I was young, like the stuff from the eighties that I really liked,’ Dill said in regards to his Samba. If you’re looking to cop a pair, it’ll hit the Fucking Awesome webstore on April 6 before landing on the adidas webstore on April 9.
