Dakota Johnson Just Made Her Calvin Klein Debut
Dakota Johnson just made her debut for Calvin Klein in its new Spring campaign, and we’re obsessed. Appearing in the heritage denim and underwear, the star shows us the power of less is more.
Directed and shot by Gordon von Steiner, the campaign showcases the brand’s signature confidence and sensuality with a refined philosophy. We follow Johnson through a relaxing day at home, away from the spotlight, as she blurs the line between subtle sensuality and playful humor. The brand truly removes all excess to get us looking at the latest Calvin Klein fits with (almost) no distractions.
The campaign features new pieces designed for the body with fresh innovations. The Ultralight and Icon Cotton Modal underwear offer barely-there support and sculpting comfort that feels like a second skin, while the Perfectly Fit Ultralight Bra features spacer cup technology for a weightless feel that both lifts and shapes. For the denim offering, simplicity is key. The defining 90s silhouettes are on our radar with the Archive High Rise Slim Jean giving that Jane Birkin look, vintage, undone and effortlessly cool.
Johnson shared, “When a woman is alone at home working or reading or doing whatever, it can feel quite liberating and sensual. Channeling that, and pairing that energy with Calvin Klein’s iconography, felt both singular and classic. I love that this campaign celebrates being comfortable, free and sexy on your own terms. Sometimes, a woman just BEING is the sexiest thing.” We couldn’t agree more.
