Adidas and AVAVAV Return for a Third Capsule Collaboration
adidas and AVAVAV are back with a third collaboration, and this time Beate Karlsson is turning the Three Stripes into her fashion playground. The first two collections were an exploration of sport, surrealism and structure, giving adidas x AVAVAV a subversive style that disrupted traditional sportswear. This new collab brings entirely new silhouettes into the fold, with body paint-style track jackets and uniquely shaped footwear.
The collection is a continuation of the last two collaborations, remodeling adidas classics in Karlsson’s vision. The Modified Superstar sneaker arrives in two worn-in colorways, giving it a slightly distressed look that reflects the wider collection. Dropping alongside the supersized Moonrubber Megaride, both sneakers feature sculptural soles, molded into wavy shapes for an eye-catching look on the street.
The clothes are fresh and fun, taking the heritage sportswear brand’s refined tracksuits and making them wearable art. They might not be the body painted Beckenbauer jackets that walked down the AVAVAV runway for Spring/Summer 2025, but these trackies are the next best thing. Slim fit jackets that look like a second skin have an airbrushed quality to them, mimicking the painted styles from Fashion Week.
Fluffy knit socks and a matching sweater are perfect for the winter, and a cinched waist puffer jacket is the cherry on top of a collection that rethinks every shape, curve and medium in the world of sportswear.
The adidas x AVAVAV collection is available to purchase now on the adidas website.
