Diesel Readies First Collaborative Capsule With Thug Club
Diesel has tapped Seoul’s rising streetwear imprint Thug Club for its latest global capsule, marking the brands’ first-ever full collaboration. Founded in 2018 by Jiyool Kwon, Thug Club draws on hip-hop, motorcycle culture and the raw energy of Itaewon, fusing oversized silhouettes, silver hardware, exposed seams and DIY distressing under its signature “TC” logo. The label’s underground cred has already reached A$AP Rocky, CL and Jay Park, positioning this partnership at the crossroads of East-West street style.
Designed as an equal mash-up by Diesel creative director Glenn Martens and Thug Club’s Kwon, the eight-piece Diesel x Thug Club collection crystallizes both houses’ DNA. Two hoodies and a T-shirt pair rugged, fade-washed denim with mesh zip-ups, while a moto-inspired trucker jacket and two jean styles feature camouflage treatments, asymmetrical seams and oversized “Diesel” and “TC” branding. A new blended logo – part Diesel, part Thug Club – anchors the capsule, underscoring its ethos of self-expression, freedom and nonconformity.
The Diesel x Thug Club range is currently available worldwide via Diesel’s and Thug Club’s webstore as well as select stores in Asia.
