Stüssy and Wales Bonner Just Dropped a Collaboration and We’re Obsessed
Stüssy and Wales Bonner just dropped their first collaboration, blending West Coast surf culture with fashion-forward design. The capsule collection takes inspiration from beachside locations like Labadi and Bull Bay, to Tokyo and Santa Ana, and reimagines classic Stussy graphics through the lens of Wales Bonner.
Redefining the signature surf wardrobe, the new capsule leans into Wales Bonner’s sartorial codes, resulting in double-breasted blazers made from Loro Piana wool, “Bark Brown” leathers and silk polos. Elsewhere, casual silhouettes like fringed-hem shorts, striped logo shirts and leopard print jumpers are paired with studded stonewash denim, embroidered board shorts and a beach sarong, which was designed in collaboration with Peter Miles.
Celebrating the collection is a vibrant campaign, lensed by photographer Zoe Ghertner in, of course, Los Angeles. Outside of the campaign visuals, the capsule itself also features a collaboration with a photographer, with the silk polo featuring an image captured by Accra-based Nana Yaw Oduro.
Take a look at the new collection above and head to the Wales Bonner and Stussy websites on September 26 to purchase.
