LOEWE Perfumes Unveils Its Newest Home Scent
LOEWE Perfumes just added “Palo Santo” to its home scents collection. Inspired by the wild tree that’s typically used as a traditional remedy, the new “Palo Santo” scent is described by the brand as being “soothing and aromatic.” Drawing inspiration from the plant’s history of healing, LOEWE Perfumes hopes the scent will add another layer of complexity to the collection.
In the 13th century, palo santo, which is otherwise known as “holy wood,” served as a way to bring about good luck and rid spaces of negative energy. The scent itself is known for being slightly citrusy, with smoky notes lingering after being burnt. Referencing its woody qualities, LOEWE Perfumes‘ “Palo Santo” is said to be an elevated version of the century-old natural incense.
The “Palo Santo” scented candle is made with natural wax, before being packaged in LOEWE’s signature terracotta vessel with an anagram-stamped base. Additionally, the brand says that since each candle is crafted by hand, so no two candles are exactly the same. Just like the tree that inspired the scent, the “Palo Santo” candle promises to be an evocative reminder of nature’s most pure fragrances.
