New Balance 1906L Surfaces in “Red Croc”
A striking new take on the sneaker-loafer hybrid has surfaced, with the New Balance 1906L “Red Croc.” This upcoming release transforms the classic silhouette with a bold, high-end material, proving that the brand is committed to blending athletic heritage with high-fashion aesthetics.
The shoe features a glossy, all-over patent leather upper that is textured to resemble crocodile skin, giving it a luxurious and audacious look. This is a significant departure from the mesh and suede materials typically seen on New Balance’s heritage models. The monochromatic red colorway covers the shoe’s entire top-half, from the base to the prominent strap and heel counter, while the midsole and outsole maintain a classic black.
The 1906L, which first debuted as a running shoe in 2009, is known for its blend of style and comfort. This model retains its advanced technology with a full-length N-ERGY cushioning system that provides excellent shock absorption.
The New Balance 1906L “Red Croc” is set to release in Fall 2025.
