Take a Look at TELFAR’s New Bag
Black-owned and inclusive fashion brand TELFAR adds a new offering to its best-selling bag category.
Inspired by the same plastic bags that NYC banned, TELFAR’s new bag is “a forever take on the city’s most iconic disposable silhouette. Available on August 15, the Plastic Bag reimagines New York City‘s iconic shopping bags that read “Thank you for shopping.”
According to the press release, the waterproof bags are “Made to carry anything (and everything),” offering a “playful yet practical ode to everyday style.”It’s available in two sizes, regular and jumbo and a range of 11 prints.
The regular — big enough to hold a 13’’ laptop and daily essentials — is priced at $148. The jumbo is carry-on sized and costs $195. That’s right. For a plastic bag.”
The everyday bag’s design is “double lined with ruched elastic handles, tonal seams and a generous interior. It features two deep side pockets that fit water bottles, a zip pocket, slit pocket and a hidden stash pocket,” the label continues.
