Melissa Reimagines the Diesel “D” as New Quantum Silhouettes
Melissa just announced its latest collaboration, off the back of a recent team-up with Nodaleto. Teaming up with Diesel, the newest collaboration blends Melissa’s signature “jelly” aesthetic with the design language of the fashion label, resulting in three unique silhouettes.
Reimagined through the lens of “optical art,” the new collection features the Quantum Thong: a flip-flop style available in transparent blue, red, black and light pink, along with the Quantum Platform, which is an open-toe platform mule that’s available in transparent red, blue, black and light blue. Completing the line-up is the genderless Quantum Sneaker X, a closed-toe shoe with a warped design, available in transparent green, red and black.
Each silhouette boasts an extended size range, with the thong and platform styles available in sizes 5 to 10, and the sneaker style available in sizes 5 to 13. Crafted from modern textures and “sophisticated color palettes,” the new collaboration boasts advanced technologies and takes inspiration from the classic shape of the Diesel “D” monogram.
