Official Look at the Converse x Feng Chen Wang 2-In-1 Chuck 70 “Brown/Egret/Black”
Converse has reunited with Feng Chen Wang to coreate a new edition of the Chuck 70 sneaker. This new model marks Wang’s continued exploration with the iconic silhouette, presenting a design influenced by her Chinese heritage and the ceramic artistry of Jian Ware. The resulting sneaker incorporates graphics and meticulously crafted textures. These elements aim to replicate the unique tones and finish associated with handcrafted clay, offering a distinctive interpretation of the classic silhouette.
This limited-edition sneaker features a canvas upper, sporting textured graphic effects referenced from patterns as observed in Jian Ware ceramics. Wang’s signature decontructed 2-in-1 sole provides an additional design element with a partly rendered earth tone palette. The burnished sidewall tape further contributes to an over-dyed aesthetic.
