GOLF WANG and Converse Take Inspiration From Nature With One Star CC Slip Pro Pack
Tyler, the Creator‘s GOLF WANG and Converse continue their expansive partnership with the debut of the One Star CC Slip Pro Pack. Marking the duo’s first collaboration on the slip-on skate silhouette, the pack takes inspiration from Converse’s archival slip-on models and from the rich heritage of the brand’s 1970’s One Star line.
The trio is crafted with two-tone hairy suede uppers the reflect the details of its namesake landscapes. First up is the muted blue “Forget Me Not” reminiscent of a cloudy sky, followed by the green grassy landscape in “Forest Elf” and the dark, fertile soil in “Black Beauty.” Each model is then built off with egret foxing tape with a delicate varnish, and littered with co-branded sockliners that feature an image of the landscape that inspired the colorway. A CX foam sock liner ensures comfort and versatility for both casual and skate wear, finished off with CONS traction rubber for extra traction.
