Nike Adds to Its “University Series” With the “Chenille Swoosh” Dunk High
One sneaker that has dominated the culture over the past few years has been Nike’s iconic Dunk. It experienced the resurgence of a lifetime in 2020 and by 2022 has infiltrated the mainstream market, selling out every time a new colourway hits shelves despite the high volume that Team Swoosh produce. Looking to create inventive new iterations, the latest to touch down is a Dunk High that has been dubbed ‘Chenille Swoosh’. They actually give us major 7-Eleven vibes.
Swooshes created out of chenille yarn have been a common sight recently, with an Air Jordan 1 and Dunk Low already receiving the special treatment. This Dunk High follows a similar script, choosing a full white leather base and green, yellow and red overlay hits, complementing the dark gum outsole down below. The highlight of this iteration is the extra large Swoosh that’s been dressed in the fluffy fabric.
Official images have been released of this 7-Eleven Nike Dunk High with chenille Swoosh, meaning that it should be releasing very soon.
