Stüssy x Denim Tears Launches Collaborative Collection
Following the teaser last month, Stüssy and Denim Tears have finally unveiled their collaborative collection.
The 17-piece range consists of apparel and accessories that draw inspiration from Denim Tears founder Tremaine Emory’s high school years in Jamaica, Queens. Uniforms-like staples such as shirts, blazers, cardigans, chinos and messenger bags are reimagined with eye-catching co-branding and motifs. This includes a Double S Wreath and Pan-African American flag, signaling both brands’ roots and hallmarks. Additionally, the collection emphasizes the cultural significance of Spades, featuring Annie Lee’s painting “Six No Uptown,” which reflects the creative expression of the African Diaspora.
Prices range from $55 – $650 USD, the collection will be available across Stüssy and Denim Tears’ websites and select physical stores starting February 14, 10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST.
