“Sail” and “Burgundy Crush” Combine on This Nike Air Max 1
While Nike often rotates which of its Air Max models it highlights each season, one design remains consistent with its presence: the Air Max 1. The 1987 model continues to constantly take on new colorways as it proves to be a timeless silhouette for the Swoosh.
Adding to the list of looks, a new pair sporting both “Sail” and “Burgundy Crush” has been revealed. A suede mudguard kicks things off in its signature off-white hue, complementing the textured textile base that runs across a majority of the upper. From there, another shade of “Sail” is present at the rough suede midfoot overlays, which is then accompanied by an suede at the heel that is even more coarse. “Burgundy Crush” finally enters the mix at the lining of the shoe, as well as its heel branding and rubber outsole.
At the time of writing, Nike has not yet announced when this “Sail/Burgundy Crush” iteration of the Air Max 1 will be dropping. Stay tuned for updates as we expect the pair to be made available sometime this year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
