JJJJound’s adidas “Made in Japan” Superstar 90 Is Set for a 2025 Release
Following up on JJJJound’s adidas Samba “Tobacco” released last June, the Montreal-based studio has unveiled a new “Made in Japan” Superstar 90 in all-black.
Like JJJJound’s previous variants of classic models, the Superstar 90 closely resembles the original design. In fact, rather than adding to the silhouette JJJJound opts for subtraction, removing the logo from the tongue and the signature Trefoil emblem from the heel tabs leaving them bare. The studio also replaces the golden” Superstar” word mark along the three-stripe overlays with “JJJJound.”
Aside from the white heel tabs, white stripes, and tan lining, the “Made in Japan” Superstar 90 is all black, inclusive of its Japanese leather upper, laces, and midsole.
The JJJJound x adidas Superstar 90 is set for release on February 1, 2025, at JJJJound and select retailers.
