Louis Vuitton Formal SS25 Remains Classic
Louis Vuitton has released its Men’s Formal Spring/Summer 2025 collection that stays sophisticated with classic styles. The 18-look collection takes the house’s style, curated by creative director Pharrell Williams, and reinterprets it for colder formal occasions.
Clothing offerings include refreshed office-ready looks like double-breasted coats and straight-cut trousers styled with statement cardigans and scarves. Naturally, this collection places an emphasis on evening wear as button-downs and cigarette pants show up in multiple iterations, both with and without monograms. A new LV Cursive signature embroidered in gold is introduced in this collection as it adorns cardigans and suits for a subtle flair. A three-piece velvet tuxedo is the highlight of the garments as the craftsmanship and simple sophistication make it fit for the finest events.
The collection expands Louis Vuitton’s vast array of leather goods, specifically the functional, business silhouettes. The house introduces an adjustable cross-body bag this season, the Taiga Avenue Messenger which remains understated, coming in sleek black. The businessman’s beloved briefcase is reimagined into the Sac Plat
horizontal zip-bag for loyal customers who want function and fashion.
Formal footwear is also prevalent in this assortment as the typical sneakers seen on LV runways are swapped out. Chelsea boots, made from waxed calf leather, come in a new shade of deep burgundy and feature minimal branding with only a monogram flower discreetly embossed. The house introduces a new derby and loafer style, the Kensington, made from a mix of calf leather and textured Epi leather to give a uniquely textured look to the timeless style.
The Louis Vuitton Formal men’s wear collection for Spring/Summer 2025 will be available in stores on August 29. You can view the full collection above.
