Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Workwear Capsule Is Coming This Month
As the Fall/Winter 2024 season approaches, Pharrell is gearing up to unleash a capsule collection devoted to all of the workwear items that appeared on his Western-inspired Louis Vuitton runway in January. Fusing dandy and savoir-faire, the line houses durable ready-to-wear, the limited-edition Keepall 50 Toolbox bag and the House’s expansive footwear collaboration with Timberland.
In classic workwear form, the apparel range spans signature chore coats, multi-pocketed trousers, utilitarian separates and more items built with overdyed jacquard in brown, black and beige tones. Characteristic yokes and country-fied leather appliqué motifs decorate trucker jackets and coats, while turquoise buttons and pearly studs put the final touch on jeans, belts, collars, bolo ties and more.
The Keepall 50 Toolbox, meanwhile, reimagines the House’s emblematic bag through the workwear lens. Remodeled with references to real-life toolboxes, the silhouette employs myriad exterior pockets and rivets made with natural leather and coated in LV’s staple Monogram Canvas. Notably, steel flasks and cigarette cases complete the accessories lineup.
Rounding out the collection, Louis Vuitton’s Timberland collaboration includes three models, each of which come with their own variations. The LV 6-Inch is composed of supple Italian nubuck leather with a seam-sealed waterproof build and LV logo work that becomes visible upon closer inspection. The LV Boot, meanwhile, features black-grained leather with LV branding on the tongue, and the LV 6-Inch Exceptional Edition goes all out with 18K gold LV tongue initials, eyelets, lace tips, and tag hardware.
Louis Vuitton’s workwear capsule will be available for pre-sale on the brand’s website and app on July 18 before it officially launches in retail locations on August 8. Take a look at the lineup in the gallery above.
