Dior Unveils Latest “Icons” Capsule
After dropping an Icons campaign starring Robert Pattinson last month, Dior has returned to unveil its newest Icons capsule: “an ultra-desirable neo-wardrobe for men” designed by Kim Jones.
The line, at large, is defined by subtlety; across knitwear, denim and formalwear, Dior’s latest menswear silhouettes are distinguished by pure lines, refined shapes and traditional savoir-faire. Long, structured coats complement wide-leg trousers, in what becomes the modern-day businessman’s uniform, while luxe cashmere sweaters and T-shirts made from sea island cotton speak for the atelier’s penchant for fine materials.
Buttoned sweater vests layer over dress shirts and straight, white trousers, while firm denim jackets find synergy with striped button-downs and pleated navy pants. Blazers and trenches boast oversized, boxy fits, and fitted jackets house big side pockets, maximizing utility. Harrington coats, meanwhile, are finished with a silk mix, fueling the imprint’s elevated approach to men’s dressing.
Rounding out the range, Dior’s accessories — backpacks and weekender bags in the brand’s new black, beige and khaki Gravity leather included — suit the capsule’s upscale persona, as do its bulky dress shoes.
Dior’s new “Icons” capsule will launch in stores and online in the coming weeks. Take a look at the collection in the campaign, shot by Brett Lloyd, above.
