Patta x Converse’s Latest Capsule Is Equipped for “Rain or Shine”
After presenting a collaborative take on the One Star Pro last February, Patta and Converse are linking back up. In a utilitarian-inspired foray entitled “Rain or Shine,” the duo delivers a range of weather-ready apparel and footwear – with new takes on the Converse Weapon Ox and Chuck 70 Marquis leading the charge.
The Weapon Ox is reimagined with functionality at the forefront. Taking a low top stature, the sneaker is enveloped in a monochromatic black hue, and sees a Cordura fabric upper and a rubber mudguard. D-ring top eyelets, Converse’s signature Star Chevon logo and a woven label on the tongue round out the silhouette.
As for the Chuck 70 Marquis, the model features three-piece sport mesh lining as well as CX foam cushioning throughout.
Guided by Patta’s brand ethos, the collaboration “embraces the concept that success is not hindered by obstacles” but rather “thrives with dedication, perseverance and the right mindset.” Emerging South London-based punk musician Sam Akpro fronts the lookbook – check it out in the gallery above.
A rain jacket leads the apparel offering. It arrives in an all-over gradient black print and is polished off with reflective lettering and detailing. “Patta Rain or Shine,” it reads on the back, with “See no weather, Hear no weather, Speak no weather” written underneath a graphic.
Shop the Patta x Converse “Rain or Shine” capsule now, available at Patta’s official webstore and app, as well as at select Patta storefronts.
The collection will go live on the Converse webstore on Thursday, April 4.
