ASICS x WOOD WOOD : Celebrate the Power of Movement with the new GT-2160 Sneaker
Danish multi-brand retailer and clothing label Wood Wood, with an extensive list of collaborations with names like adidas, Salomon, Reebok and more is now joining forces with ASICS — bringing its signature Copenhagen aesthetic to the GT-2160.
Notably, the ASICS GT-2160 for Wood Wood features an understated look, dressed in classic silver tones sourced from ASICS archives. Adding a touch of excitement to the shoe are various pops of color, including light pink, blue, indigo, yellow and a spot of green at the “W.W.” branded heel pulls.
The shoes also feature dark brown liners, trail-style laces, a white midsole and black outsole. Despite the range and mix of colors, the shoe maintains a congruent look that is reflective of ASICS’ lifestyle approach and Wood Wood’s design ethos. Beyond the colorway, various textures have been brought out in the mesh paneling and details like the lace loops, branded heel pullers and leather heel guard added to the original design.
The ASICS GT-2160 sneaker will be released exclusively at Shelflife stores and online at www.shelflife.co.za on March 22nd and will retail for R2799 incl VAT.
