New Balance is getting ready for a harsher winter conditions with a GORE-TEX protected iteration that will safeguard against strong winds and rain. Arriving in a sleek, dark edition, the New Balance 580 comes in “Black Magnet.”

The silhouette gained popularity throughout the streets of Japan when it had its local release back in the day. Now, it has returned as an icon in itself that sees the shoe adorned in a black, magnet and grey matter color palette. The updated 580 features a sleeker toe and lower collar and is constructed with a black upper and suede overlays. The shoe sits on a Rollbar midsole and black Vibran outsole for added traction for winter days.
