New Balance 1906R Surfaces in a Retro-Inspired White and Green Colorway
New Balance has continued to expand its footwear offering with the release of a pair of retro-inspired 1906Rs. The past few years have seen a sudden boom in retro sneakers coming from all major sneaker labels. This time around, New Balance is taking fans back to the ’80s/’90s with a model that initially debuted in 2010.
The latest colorway to hit the New Balance 1960R is one that arrives in white and green. The shoe’s upper is constructed out of a white breathable mesh base featuring leather overlays. The heel guard is highlighted in a light grey, while the rest of the shoe sits atop a cream colored midsole and gum outsole for the retro vibes. Deep green details highlight parts of the sole as well as the New Balance “N” branding on the lateral.
Look out for the New Balance 1960R in white and green expected to arrive later this year for $150 USD in select retailers and online at New Balance.
