Monopoly Enlists J Balvin for Music-Inspired Game Board
Global play and entertainment company Hasbro has linked up with Colombian singer J Balvin for a limited-edition version of its Monopoly game.
Marking the first Monopoly board collaboration with a Latin artist, the classic game is receiving a music-inspired makeover. Fusing Balvin’s eccentrically colorful style and Colombian heritage, the game board is decked out in every shade of the rainbow alongside smiley face designs. Additionally, the board’s spaces channel different elements of music from “concert tickets” to “music royalties” with light-hearted graphic designs.
Aside from the stylized J Balvin board, the game includes specialized bespoke tokens, titled deed cards, monopoly money, hotels and more. Check out the gallery above for a closer look at the game.
The Monopoly: J Balvin Limited Edition is available now online at J Balvin’s website and with select retailers.
