Suicoke Taps Missoni for the Latest Iteration of Its Classic Slides
Missoni and Suicoke just released their first-ever collaboration and it’s not for the faint-hearted. Fusing the Italian brand’s signature fabrics with the minimalist structure of the Japanese sandal, the partnership reimagines two of Suicoke’s classic silhouettes in vibrant designs.
Utilizing the “Moto” and “Depa” models as a base, the sandal upper is transformed with Missoni’s cult zigzag print and abstract graphic patterns. Available in four colorways, each sandal heroes different textures and merges hues of black, blue, purple and green.
The partnership with Missoni comes shortly after Suicoke released a collaborative range of Spring/Summer footwear with workwear brand Carhartt WIP. Merging the brand’s utilitarian aesthetic with the same Suicoke silhouettes, the range offered a decidedly more subtle take on the sandals in muted hues of brown and black.
The collaboration is now available for purchase from both Missoni’s website and Suicoke’s website, alongside select retailers.
