Borussia Dortmund Reveal 22/23 Away Shirt From PUMA
Celebrating the connection between the players on the pitch and the fans in the stands, Borussia Dortmund reveal their new away shirt for the 22/23 season from PUMA.
The fans make up a huge part of the club culture at Borussia Dortmund, and there is a special connection felt throughout. That connection, felt so strongly between the fans and players, is at the heart of the design for the club’s new away shirt, which has been produced by long-term technical partners, PUMA. The German brand has looked to the stands for inspiration, and specifically the flags that fly in tech Yellow Wall.
The shirt sees a split design, with one half presented in clean black, while the other half features a checkered pattern of varying sizes in an asphalt grey, representing the many flags that fly in the south stand of Signal Iduna Park. The whole design is bordered by yellow, inverting the club’s traditional colours. It flashes through the collar, cuffs, branding and club crest. Still just that jarring 1&1 sponsor, which, in white, sticks out like a sore thumb.
