Our Legacy Debuts Artful “SPLASH” Summer 2022 Capsule
Hungry for your next serving of OUR LEGACY? Of course, you are. Fortunately enough, the Swedish fashion desirables aren’t quite done with SS22 just yet, ushering in a selection of summer-ready pieces remixed by Hank Grüner in the “SPLASH” collection.
Although OUR LEGACY is far from an overproduced mass, its small, frequent, high-quality pulses of new products keep it firmly at the forefront of our minds. Once a seasonal delivery has come and passed, a littering of special projects and collaborations (largely courtesy of WORKSHOP) keeps the line-up fresh ahead of the next seasonal arrival.
This time around, we’re not waiting on a retouch from Satisfy Running or Stüssy, as artist Hank Grüner steps into the spotlight to rethink staple silhouettes from SS22 – surprisingly, not as a WORKSHOP project.
Titled “SPLASH,” the capsule collection is deeply rooted in summer both through silhouette and aesthetic – you won’t find any of LEGACY’s signature lightweight long-sleeve shirts or outerwear pieces here, instead you’ll seek out your favorites from a selection of swimming trunks, short-sleeve shirting, and jersey styles in staple shapes.
Each of the summer-appropriate fittings is dressed up in an exclusive statement print from Hank Grüner. Bright red, yellow, and green florals contrasted with touches of black, creating a selection that demands attention – a stark contrast to those minimal LEGACY pieces that likely fill your wardrobe.
To bring the collection to life, OUR LEGACY took to the Basque country with photographer Lucca Grottoli, drumming up a dream of summer with Francesca Ferretti.
“SPLASH” will launch globally online and in OUR LEGACY stores and select retailers from June 9.
