Nike Remixes the Air Max 1 With Tumbled Leather and Mesh
The Nike Air Max 1 really is out here having a moment! From GR heaters to hyped colabs, 2022 so far has been an AM1 lover’s fantasy. There’s been aesthetically pleasing GRs like the ‘Treeline’ and on the collaborative front there’s been stacks! Rumours have been confirmed that a white version of the Patta ‘Wave’ will eventually release, and earlier this year there was the trio of Concepts Air Max 1s, inspired by the free-wheeling spirit of the 1960s.
This year has also been exciting for women’s releases, as Air Max Day dedicated a duo of pairs to ladies sizing, including the ‘Wabi-Sabi’ and the ‘La Ville-Lumière’. There was also the ‘Blueprint’ too! Now as we approach the middle of the year, it looks as though Nike are heading back to the basics, dressing up the AM1 in its classic design, but with bold new colours! Case in point is this upcoming yellow pair. Built with tumbled leather on the uppers, zesty yellow strikes the mudguard and Swoosh. A white midsole is met with a grey outsole and yellow Air unit.
There’s no release date for these yellow Nike Air Max 1s, however the arrival of official images means it won’t be far off.
