Jordan Brand Reveals the Air Jordan 8 “Taxi”
Jordan Brand have taken to using live sessions on the SNKRS app as opportunities to reveal upcoming products, and one of the pairs that was first seen in one of these on-air appearances was the women’s Air Jordan 8 ‘Taxi.’ The ‘Taxi’ made its debut during an April live stream, and now official images have surfaced ahead of its impending release.
Though this new take on Michael Jordan’s eighth signature sneaker may borrow its nickname from the famous Air Jordan 12 ‘Taxi,’ it lacks any sort of colourway resemblance. Black is the primary tone used, and it’s accented by a mix of yellow shades that range from bright fluorescent yellow to a more muted yellow-gold, all of which are spread across key accent pieces like the midfoot overlay, chenille tongue badge, crisscrossing strap’s anchors and the midsole.
